Quick Pork The Taste Of Now Before The Big Holiday Meal
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of National Pork Board. The opinions and text are all mine.
The holiday is literally around the corner! I still insist that pork is the other white meat. I enjoy pork chops, loin, ribs, bacon and belly. I believe pork chops were one of my first meats I learned to prepare for dinner from my mother. Since I am home with my family for the holiday and we are preparing for the BIG MEAL!!! We needed a quick dinner while we prepare our BIG Christmas dinner. My sister Foodieengineer helped me make this quick healthy dish for our family to eat over the holidays while we are all together. Her contribution was grabbing the extra breadcrumbs from Thanksgivings dressing and telling me to put them in the food processor to bread the pork chops. Many of you know that I live in Chicago, my sister Alycia AKA Foodieengineer lives in New Jersey and my parents live in Michigan. During Christmas and New Year’s we are all in the same household. Here is a great pork chop recipe that we ate with some leftover sides my mom had in her refrigerator. The great thing about this meal is that it is quick and healthy. I understand that time is just as important as health when it comes to preparing meals for your family.
I cook like your grandma I use handfuls for my seasonings not measuring cups and spoons. Let me know how your pork taste of now dish comes out.
