Healthy Smoothies Using Allergy Friendly Foods
I have always wanted to try all these healthy smoothies recipes but most of them use almond butter as their source of good fat. I am allergic to all nuts so that is not an option for me. Then they do not use dairy instead almond milk. Last some of them use cocoa powder I am allergic to chocolate as well. Here are some recipes that are healthy and tasty with my substitutes.
1/2 c chai tea (brewed from a tea bag and chilled)
SunButter Natural is a natural, simple, delicious sunflower butter. With 7 grams of protein and more vitamins and minerals than nut butter, it provides nutritional punch and safe, great-tasting fuel for your family’s lifestyle.
Good Karma Foods Unsweetened Flaxmilk is as creamy and versatile as the original with no sugar added and only 25 calories!
Please try these healthy smoothies recipes and if you see other recipes that have nut butter or nut milk that you are allergic to try these substitutes. Tell me about your experiences.
