Do You Want To Go To Chicago Ideas Week?

CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Tickets to the fifth annual Chicago Ideas Week (CIW), October 12 – 18, are on sale now to the general public at chicagoideas.com. Former CIA Director and four-star General (Ret.) David H. Petraeus; hip-hop recording artist, actor and poet Common; and crisis management expert Judy Smith, the inspiration for the hit TV show Scandal, join a lineup that includes lifestyle entrepreneur Martha Stewart, comedian and actor Tom Arnold, and over 150 global thought leaders.

Chaired by Brad Keywell, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Sterling Partners Co-Founder Eric Becker, the weeklong ideas festival annually brings 34,000 attendees from across the globe. Attendees can choose from more than 35 Talks and Conversations and 75 hands-on Labs on topics including cybersecurity, politics, race, terrorism, genius, leadership and more.

“We’re celebrating our five-year anniversary with our most provocative and innovative lineup of events and speakers to date,” CIW Founder & Co-Chairman Brad Keywell said. “This year, we’re continuing to build Chicago’s premier network of thought leaders, entrepreneurs and creators.”

CIW will also host over 10 free programs at the CIW Artist-in-Residence pavilion, located at Pioneer Court at 401 N. Michigan Ave. To be announced on September 28, the CIW Artist-in-Residence program will promote and showcase Chicago architecture in a unique installation to be revealed during Chicago Ideas Week.
